About the role

This Neonatal APP will support our Northern Utah Geography, which includes 8 Neonatologists and 12 Neonatal APPs. Primary location will be McKay-Dee Hospital's level III 32 bed NICU, located in Ogden, Utah. Our Neonatal APPs provide onsite coverage 24/7. Group also provides care at Layton Hospital's level II 10 bed NICU & Logan Regional Hospital's Well Newborn Nursery. It's anticipated you may provide care in any of our three locations.

Responsibilities

  • Supports 8 Neonatologists and 12 Neonatal APPs in Northern Utah Geography
  • Provides onsite coverage 24/7 at McKay-Dee Hospital's level III 32 bed NICU in Ogden, Utah
  • Care at Layton Hospital's level II 10 bed NICU & Logan Regional Hospital's Well Newborn Nursery
  • Reports directly to an AP Director, who is also a practicing Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Requirements

  • Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with 1+ year NICU experience
  • Utah state license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Utah state controlled substance license
  • BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers
  • Prior Neonatal APP experience highly preferred

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Experience: 1+ years of NICU experience
  • Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  • $63.07 - $97.30

Schedule

Full time, this APP will be scheduled an average of 36 hours per week. May be taken in 12 or 24-hour increments.
