Emp Status Regular Full time Work Shift Day (United States of America) Compensation Range The base pay scale for this position is $156,576.13 - $173,563.63. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. What You Will Be Doing Advanced Practice Provider - Interventional Radiology Monday-Friday (4 days) 7am-6pm Office: 3rd floor, Main Hospital 3E Overview The interventional radiology physician assistant/nurse practitioner works collaboratively with interventional radiologists in the assessment and therapeutic treatment of patients. The PA/NP serves as a key liaison between referring physicians, patients and radiologists, allowing for the optimal and efficient interdisciplinary coordination of services in the ambulatory and inpatient setting. The Interventional Radiology PA/NP role includes: Providing Pre- and Post-procedure assessment and education to patients and their familiesConducting history and physical examsServing as a liaison between referring physician and interventional radiologists.Managing the ambulatory and inpatient procedure scheduleOrdering and interpreting labs results and prescribing medicationsInitiating coordination of care between radiology modalities and inpatient floorsManaging and appropriately escalating post procedure issuesInserting, evaluating and maintaining Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICCs)Processing Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)Ordering and administration of contrast agents and providing assessments for premedication Minimum Qualifications Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) NPs/PAs are committed to personalized, high-quality healthcare and are held to the same legal and ethical standards of care as physicians and surgeons.
