About the role
Provide comprehensive healthcare in designated specialty areas, including patient assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and education. Serve as a clinical resource, role model, and trainer for staff and students, ensuring high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians, document findings, develop care plans, and facilitate follow-up
- Educate patients and families to promote self-management and compliance
- Participate in community outreach, QA/QI projects, and multidisciplinary committees
- Stay current with industry advancements and maintain certifications
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields
- 3+ years of clinical experience as an APP
- Valid licensure and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and specific licensure depending on role (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner)
- Demonstrates leadership, effective communication, patient-centered care, and knowledge of policies, regulations, and standards
- Ability to train, supervise, and collaborate effectively within a team environment
