Job Description

HOSPITAL MEDICINCE: Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Position Highlights
Position: Advanced Practice Provider (APN/PA) – Division of Hospital Medicine
Location: Swedish and NorthShore Hospital, Chicago, IL
Full Time/Part Time: Per Diem
Hours: Required Travel: n/a
Pay: $65-$70 per hour

What You Will Need

  • Licenses: Advanced Practice Licensure (APN) or Physician Assistant Licensure (PA) in the State of IL required; Federal DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License required
  • Certifications: BLS/CPR and ACLS certification required
  • Experience: Prior APN/PA experience in Adult Medicine, ER, Internal Medicine, or Hospitalist Medicine preferred

What You Will Do

  • Provide comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnosis, and prescribe treatments under the protocol in the direct management of acute and chronic illness and disease.
  • Provide patient education to promote wellness and prevent illness and injury for individuals, families, and communities.
  • Work autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
