About the role
Community Physician Network is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to work with our Hospitalist team at Community Hospital North.
This opportunity is a full-time day position (10-12 hour shifts), every 3rd weekend, and 2 holidays a year.
Opportunity to learn and grow as a provider. New graduates with inpatient clinical rotations will be considered.
Electronic Medical Record system (EPIC) used.
Competitive compensation offered.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in collaboration with physicians.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide ongoing patient education and support.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Licensure and certifications consistent with requirements for licensure and certification within the state of Indiana.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Indiana.
- Passing scores on relevant national certification exams (if applicable).
Skills

- Knowledge of electronic medical record systems (EPIC).
