About the role

Community Physician Network is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to work with our Hospitalist team at Community Hospital North.

This opportunity is a full-time day position (10-12 hour shifts), every 3rd weekend, and 2 holidays a year.

Opportunity to learn and grow as a provider. New graduates with inpatient clinical rotations will be considered.

Electronic Medical Record system (EPIC) used.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in collaboration with physicians.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Provide ongoing patient education and support.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

  • Licensure and certifications consistent with requirements for licensure and certification within the state of Indiana.
  • Experience in acute care settings preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Indiana.
  • Passing scores on relevant national certification exams (if applicable).

Skills

  • Strong clinical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical record systems (EPIC).
