Advanced Practice Provider Hospital Medicine
About the role
This position is accountable for the provision of patient care and other activities as permitted by licensure and defined within Credentialing and Privileging documentation (hospital), Credentialing and Scope of Practice (Medical Group), Consultation and Referral Plan (DOPL) or other similar documentation as appropriate. As part of that patient care, this position is accountable to: deliver optimal patient care through effective clinical practice; education of the patient, patient's family, clinical staff, and others; consultation with other healthcare providers; and maintain current knowledge regarding options for optimal patient care and outcomes.

Requirements
Active Physician Assistant PA or Nurse Practitioner NP License by the MT State Board.
Prescriptive Authority by the MT state board of Nursing or Medical Examiners and DEA License.
Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
ACLS Certification within 6 months of employment (site specific).
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to successfully function in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
- Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including Microsoft and Google products
- Passion for hospital medicine
- 1-3 years of experience as a provider required
- Nights required
Skills
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
- Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
- May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
- Navigation of crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc)

Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$57.33 - $88.47
