About the role
This role is integral to providing high-quality care in our 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, with a focus on Emergency Department and Inpatient services.
Responsibilities
- Manage acute medical issues for long-term care residents
- Work closely with our robust In-Patient Rehab program
- Collaborate with our primary care family providers for local continuity of care
Requirements
- Current NP or PA-C certification with licensure in the state of Colorado (or eligibility to obtain licensure)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Medicine and/or Inpatient Care (strongly preferred)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications required (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Qualifications
- Strong clinical decision-making skills with the ability to work independently and confidently in a Critical Access Hospital setting
- Experience with Swing Bed programs and/or Long-Term Care patient management is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the healthcare team
- A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a rural healthcare environment
Skills

- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of swing bed and long-term care patient management

Pay
Competitive salary starts at 120K then based on experience.
