Advanced Practice Provider - Emergency Department

Responsibilities

• Manage and stabilize critically ill and injured patients, including those with trauma, cardiac, and neurological emergencies.
• Perform advanced procedures and interventions as needed.
• Comfortably manage a wide range of patient conditions, from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies.
• Provide care for patients of all ages.

Requirements

• Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Inpatient and emergency experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification upon hire, as appropriate for the clinical role.

Qualifications

• Education:
  • Nurse Practitioner: Master’s Degree (Required). Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners and appropriate clinical specialty certification upon hire.
  • Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree (Required), Master’s Degree (Preferred). Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program upon hire.
• Work Experience: 1 year of relevant experience (Required).
• Licenses:
  • Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (Upon Hire, Required) or Licensed Physician Assistant (Upon Hire, Required).
