Advanced Practice Provider - Emergency Department

About the Role

WellSpan Health is seeking a board-certified Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join the Emergency Department team at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, PA on a per-diem basis. This role offers the flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and nights, in 10 and 12-hour increments.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex emergency cases across all age groups, from pediatric to adult patients
• Work a minimum of six shifts in six months

Requirements

• Minimum Education:
  • Master’s Degree for Nurse Practitioner (Required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree for Physician Assistant (Required)
  • Master’s Degree for Physician Assistant (Preferred)
• 1 year of relevant experience (Required)
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (Upon Hire, Required) or Licensed Physician Assistant (Upon Hire, Required)
  • Basic Life Support (Upon Hire, Required) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Upon Hire, Required)
  • Nurse Practitioner: Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners and appropriate clinical specialty certification (Upon Hire, Required)
  • Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited physician assistant program (Upon Hire, Required)
