Advanced Practice Provider Electrophysiology
About the role
The St. George Heart Rhythm team is comprised of 5 EP Cardiologists and 6 APPs. As an Advanced Practice Provider for this team, you would work mostly with one assigned physician. Here are some highlights you can expect.
Responsibilities
- Work in the clinic in St. George, UT 4 ten hour day shifts Mon-Fri with your day off being determined by the department
- Approximately 1 week every 6-7 weeks, you would work in the hospital to include the weekend
- We have outreach locations in Cedar City and Mesquite in which you will periodically cover
- During the inpatient week, you would also take call for consults from the ED etc.
- Structured program is in place for device training
Requirements
- You must have or be eligible for a current and unrestricted NP or PA Utah License
- You must have an APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
- You must have AANP or NCCPA certification
- You must have BLS and ACLS certification, and DEA
- You must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an NP or PA in a Cardiology setting, required
- EP experience highly desired
Qualifications
