Advanced Practice Provider, Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Regional Director

About the role

The Regional Director provides competent, age-specific health care to women and children in the Regional Women’s Services and Pediatrics (RWSP) healthcare program and collaborates with the Department of Pediatrics. They serve as one of three regional leaders within RWSP, reporting to the Senior Clinical & Administrative Director and receiving medical oversight from the RWSP Pediatric and OB/GYN Medical Directors.

Responsibilities

• Guide the program to establish and align with evidence-based clinical practice standards.
• Lead patient safety and quality of care efforts.
• Directly oversee and standardize clinical operations.
• Affirm documentation accuracy with highest compliance standards.
• Affirm consistently and optimally patient access to care and excellence in patient satisfaction.
• Manage regional operations to meet key processes, outcomes, and budgetary targets.
• Assure talent acquisition, performance management, and multi-site operational leadership and oversight.
• Participate in and guide budget development with ongoing management of and monitoring for key clinical and business budget targets.
• Manage staffing levels for all roles within their clinics.
• Partner with the Senior Director, Regional Directors, and RWSP Grants team to assure compliance and successful utilization of applicable active grants within our RWSP clinics.
• Lead regulatory readiness and RWSP program oversight of quality initiatives/process improvement across their respective clinics, including traveling to sites as needed for audit, training, and direct review.
• Serve as the primary leader in operations, practice, and culture across RWSP with regular on-site presence in their respective clinics.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Nursing or Master’s in Physician Assistant studies.
• Licensed in the State of Texas with Board Certification as WHNP, FNP, PNP, or PA.
• 4+ years advanced practice experience in Women’s Care, Obstetrics, Antepartum, Postpartum care, Dysplasia, or Pediatrics in either inpatient or ambulatory setting.
• 2+ years of experience in a formal leadership role.
