Advanced Practice Provider - Cardiology, Days
About the role
Monument Health is seeking a full-time APP to work at an established practice in Rapid City, SD. This role will primarily support the general and interventional cardiology services.
Responsibilities
- Take on a varied schedule that includes rotation through clinic, hospital call/rounding, cardiac prep unit, and cath lab responsibilities.
- Assume primary responsibility in their respective specialty area under physician supervision according to federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
- Manage selected at-risk or complex patients and aggregate patient populations in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
- Plan, coordinate, and provide care on a continuing basis, demonstrating knowledge, critical thinking, and skills.
Requirements
- In South Dakota, certifications required: Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) from the South Dakota Board of Nursing or Physician Assistant (PA) from the South Dakota Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners.
- One to two years of clinical experience and one to two years of healthcare experience preferred.

- Must demonstrate the knowledge, critical thinking, and skills to manage selected at-risk or complex patients and aggregate patient populations.
- Must have outstanding patient care and communication skills.
