Advanced Practice Provider - Cardiac Surgery, Days

About the role

Monument Health is seeking a full-time APP to work at an established practice in Rapid City, SD. In this role, you'll take on a varied schedule that includes operating room, rounding, clinic and call responsibilities. We are looking for someone motivated and driven, with outstanding patient care and communication skills. Join a growing team with two experienced cardiothoracic and vascular trained surgeons.

Responsibilities

• Assume primary responsibility in their respective specialty area according to federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
• Manage selected at risk or complex patients and aggregate patient populations in collaboration with physicians, nurses and other Healthcare team members.
• Plan, coordinate and provide care on a continuing basis.

Requirements

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) - South Dakota Board of Nursing or Physician Assistant (PA) - South Dakota Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners
• 1+ years of Clinical Experience
• 1+ years of Healthcare Experience

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery

Physical Requirements

• Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
