Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive urgent care services for patients across the lifespan.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries.
- Perform physical examinations and medical assessments.
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing, imaging, and laboratory studies.
- Develop and implement treatment plans.
- Perform common office-based procedures as appropriate.
- Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice.
- Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with all clinical, regulatory, and documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner program.
- Active Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in Oregon and/or Washington (or ability to obtain).
- Board Certification (PA-C, FNP-C, AANP, ANCC, or equivalent).
- Current BLS certification.
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
- 2+ years of clinical experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience.
Schedule
Full-Time
Approximately 36-40 hours per week
