Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – Urgent Care

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive urgent care services for patients across the lifespan.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries.
  • Perform physical examinations and medical assessments.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic testing, imaging, and laboratory studies.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Perform common office-based procedures as appropriate.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice.
  • Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all clinical, regulatory, and documentation standards.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Active Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in Oregon and/or Washington (or ability to obtain).
  • Board Certification (PA-C, FNP-C, AANP, ANCC, or equivalent).
  • Current BLS certification.
  • DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
  • 2+ years of clinical experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience.

Schedule

Full-Time
Approximately 36-40 hours per week
