Advanced Practice Provider - APP - Urgent Care

About the role

This role is a PRN/Fill-In Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner position at SSM Health Dean Medical Group's Urgent Care department in Madison, Wisconsin. The department operates Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Responsibilities

- Experience as a PA or NP in urgent care, emergency medicine, or family medicine - Comfortable diagnosing and treating children and adults with minor to complex medical problems - Experience in laceration repair and acute fracture care (splinting)

Requirements

- Current license to practice as a PA or NP in Wisconsin

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare field - Current licensure as a PA or NP in Wisconsin - CPR certification

- Strong clinical skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
