About the role
The candidate will be expected to provide independent clinical and cosmetic services for the plastic & reconstructive surgery team, including ED consults, OR first assist, post-operative visits, follow-up appointments, new patient exams, and cosmetic procedures (injections, laser treatments, etc.). The candidate will be in close collaboration with the surgeons, hospital and clinic staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide independent clinical and cosmetic services for the plastic & reconstructive surgery team

- Cosmetic procedures (injections, laser treatments, etc.)

Requirements
- Eligibility for prescriptive authority
- Ability to handle and lift patients and operate required equipment
- Frequent communication required
- Exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids
Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant
- Meets and maintains specific requirements of the Medical Review Board (Physician Assistant)
- Ability to obtain prescriptive authority (DEA License)
- Surgical first assist experience
- Cosmetic procedure experience
- Previous academic experience

Hiring Range: $111,000 to $136,000
