About the role

The Advanced Practice Provider is the primary medical provider for the on-site clinic, adhering to all local, state, and federal compliance requirements within their scope of practice. This role provides ethical and high-quality occupational health and preventative care to help reduce and treat injuries and illnesses in the workplace. Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site services at one location in Rothschild, WI.
  • Deliver ethical, evidence-based medical services to clients’ employees both onsite and in virtual evaluations, following the recommendations of the Medical Director.
  • Complete timely and accurate electronic and non-electronic documentation.
  • Engage proactively and mobilely with the workforce from a prevention standpoint.
  • Collaborate actively with the safety and first responder team to address needs.
  • Work autonomously and self-motivated, seeking out interactions with employees and building relationships.
  • Perform phlebotomy and collect urine samples as necessary.
  • Perform and/or coordinate New Hire physical examinations.
  • Provide onsite first aid and wellness screening.
  • Deliver case management and return-to-work services.
  • Administer and document annual vaccinations, spirometry, audiograms, drug & alcohol testing, biometrics, and medical questionnaires.
  • Coordinate assessment, treatment planning, and return-to-work processes with the employee, providers, and employer.
  • Assess and educate patients on medication lists, illnesses, medical history, injury prevention methods, and test results.
  • Survey work environments for hazards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Licensed Physician Assistant (PA).
  • Active license in good standing in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Current certification in CPR / BLS for healthcare providers.
  • 1 or more years of experience in Occupational Health, Primary Care, Outpatient, or Urgent Care.
  • Demonstrated computer skills and ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and workflow management skills.
  • NIOSH Spirometry Training and Certification may be required.
  • Current COHN certification or ability to obtain certification within the first 3 years of employment.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of on-site work needs: lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds; frequent standing, walking, sitting, and squatting (reasonable accommodations will be considered).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Verbal and written Spanish bilingual capabilities.
  • 3 or more years of experience in Occupational Medicine.

Pay

$90,000–$130,000 annually. Hourly rate negotiable based on credentials and experience.

Schedule

  • Full-Time, Non-Exempt.
  • Average of 40 hours per week, on-site.
  • Shifts: Monday–Friday, typically 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, but may fluctuate based on client needs.
