About the role
The Advanced Practice Provider is the primary medical provider for the on-site clinic, adhering to all local, state, and federal compliance requirements within their scope of practice. This role provides ethical and high-quality occupational health and preventative care to help reduce and treat injuries and illnesses in the workplace. Responsibilities
- Provide on-site services at one location in Rothschild, WI.
- Deliver ethical, evidence-based medical services to clients’ employees both onsite and in virtual evaluations, following the recommendations of the Medical Director.
- Complete timely and accurate electronic and non-electronic documentation.
- Engage proactively and mobilely with the workforce from a prevention standpoint.
- Collaborate actively with the safety and first responder team to address needs.
- Work autonomously and self-motivated, seeking out interactions with employees and building relationships.
- Perform phlebotomy and collect urine samples as necessary.
- Perform and/or coordinate New Hire physical examinations.
- Provide onsite first aid and wellness screening.
- Deliver case management and return-to-work services.
- Administer and document annual vaccinations, spirometry, audiograms, drug & alcohol testing, biometrics, and medical questionnaires.
- Coordinate assessment, treatment planning, and return-to-work processes with the employee, providers, and employer.
- Assess and educate patients on medication lists, illnesses, medical history, injury prevention methods, and test results.
- Survey work environments for hazards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Licensed Physician Assistant (PA).
- Active license in good standing in the state of Wisconsin.
- Current certification in CPR / BLS for healthcare providers.
- 1 or more years of experience in Occupational Health, Primary Care, Outpatient, or Urgent Care.
- Demonstrated computer skills and ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and workflow management skills.
- NIOSH Spirometry Training and Certification may be required.
- Current COHN certification or ability to obtain certification within the first 3 years of employment.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of on-site work needs: lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds; frequent standing, walking, sitting, and squatting (reasonable accommodations will be considered).
Preferred Qualifications
- Verbal and written Spanish bilingual capabilities.
- 3 or more years of experience in Occupational Medicine.

Pay
$90,000–$130,000 annually. Hourly rate negotiable based on credentials and experience.
Schedule
- Full-Time, Non-Exempt.
- Average of 40 hours per week, on-site.
- Shifts: Monday–Friday, typically 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, but may fluctuate based on client needs.
