Advanced Practice Practitioner ARPN PA-C, Urgent Care

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient history and performs assessment.
• Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic procedures.
• Provides and documents direct treatment and management of health conditions.
• Provides counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
• Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.

Ascension St. Vincent’s is looking for an Advanced Practice Practitioner for our Urgent Care Program. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension St. Vincent’s to provide medical services to patients.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Valid state license required specific to the state in which the associate works.
• Education: Master's degree of Nursing required.
