Advanced Practice Professional - Urgent Care

Responsibilities

• Provides healthcare treatment for patients of all ages in a walk‑in urgent care facility.
• Utilizes integrated system‑wide electronic health record and on‑site imaging.
• Floats between West Region urgent care sites in Chambersburg, Greencastle, Shippensburg, and Waynesboro.

Schedule

• Clinic hours: 7 days a week, 8 AM – 8 PM.
• 3–13 hour shifts per week, Sunday through Saturday, with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s Degree (Nurse Practitioner) required, or Bachelor’s Degree (Physician Assistant) required; Master’s Degree (Physician Assistant) preferred.
• Experience: 1 year required.
• Licensure: Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner upon hire required, or Licensed Physician Assistant upon hire required; and Basic Life Support upon hire required, or Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire required.
• Certification/Training: BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role upon hire required; Nurse Practitioner – board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification upon hire required and completion of an accredited nurse practitioner program upon hire required, or Physician Assistant – graduate of an accredited physician assistant program upon hire required.
