Responsibilities
- Provide primary and specialty healthcare services
- Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries
- Prescribe medications and treatments
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers
- Conduct health assessments and screenings
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide patient education and counseling
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Experience in providing healthcare services to American Indian and Alaska Native communities preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in remote and sometimes challenging field settings
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Passing scores on relevant national certification exams
- Experience in rural or underserved healthcare settings

Pay
