About the role

The Advanced Practice Clinician will work as a solo provider in the emergency department at Jefferson Davis Community Hospital with physician back up. The ED volume is 5.2K patients/year or 14 patients/day.

Responsibilities

• Work as a solo provider in the emergency department at Jefferson Davis Community Hospital with physician back up.
• Manage the 24-hour shift with an average daily census of 1-2 admissions per day.
• Utilize the EMR system EPIC.
• Provide care without specialty services.

Requirements

• NP or PA Board Certified.
• 1-2 years of Emergency Medicine Experience.
• ATLS, ACLS, PALS Required.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice in Mississippi.
