About the role
We are seeking a highly-motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary Integrated Front Door team. The ANP will provide Urgent and Unscheduled care, including primary care home visits in the community, NHS 24, custody Care, AAU and Hospital @ Home level care. This role offers opportunities for skill development and contributes to the local improvement of primary and acute care services.
Responsibilities
- Provide Urgent and Unscheduled care, including primary care home visits in the community, NHS 24, custody Care, AAU and Hospital @ Home level care.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with resident GPs, Nursing Team, SAS and other primary and secondary care specialists.
- Contribute to the development of primary care and acute services within the remote-island location.
- Support clinical colleagues, including medical, nursing, mental health and Scottish Ambulance Service colleagues.
Requirements
- Band 6 to 7 qualification in Nursing or equivalent.
- Experience in Urgent and Unscheduled care.
- Experience in working in a remote-island setting.
- Ability to work as part of a team, sometimes at a distance.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse Practitioner.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits
- £52,845 to £61,466 per annum for Band 7.
- £43,231 - £52,679 per annum for Band 6.
- Distant Islands Allowance of £1,461 per annum.

- Shift working, including overnight and weekend shifts.
Pay
- Band 7: £52,845 to £61,466 per annum.
