Advanced Mixed Fleet Mobile Technician

About the role

The Preventative Maintenance (PM) Technician at Managed Mobile, Inc. is responsible for performing various maintenance tasks on commercial vehicles, ensuring they are safe, compliant, and reliable for clients. This position involves both routine and in-depth repairs, as well as DOT inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform A-PM's and B-PM's
• Perform DOT inspections
• In-depth repair work on Tractors and Trailers - Class 8, no overhauls
• Perform PMs on trailers and limited minor repair work when needed
• Perform PMs on a variety of diesel engines including Class 6-8 diesel engines
• Use computer diagnostics

Requirements

• 5+ years of Mobile Technician experience
• 5+ years of diesel repair experience
• 5+ years DOT inspections experience
• Knowledge of CVSA - out of service criteria
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
• Ability to pass a drug/background check
• Ability to pass MVR with a valid Drivers License and good driving record

Qualifications

• Trailer repair work experience
• 5+ years of Commercial Class 6-8 diesel engine work
• DOT inspections experience
• Welding experience
