Advanced Mixed Fleet Mobile Technician

About the role

The Preventative Maintenance (PM) Technician at Managed Mobile, Inc. is responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on commercial vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and compliance standards. This position requires a strong background in diesel repair and DOT inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform A-PM's and B-PM's
• Conduct DOT inspections
• In-depth repair work on tractors and trailers (Class 8)
• Perform PMs on trailers and limited minor repairs
• Perform PMs on various diesel engines (Class 6-8)
• Use computer diagnostics

Requirements

• 5+ years of mobile technician experience
• 5+ years of diesel repair experience
• 5+ years DOT inspections experience
• Knowledge of CVSA - out of service criteria
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
• Ability to pass a drug/background check
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with a valid driver’s license and good driving record

Qualifications

• Experience with trailer repair work
• Experience with commercial Class 6-8 diesel engines
• Experience with DOT inspections
• Welding experience

Schedule

Shifts are typically 8-12 hours long, with about 50 hours worked per week. Shifts are Monday through Friday.
