Advanced Mixed Fleet Mobile Technician

About the role

The Preventative Maintenance (PM) Technician at Managed Mobile, Inc. is responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, DOT inspections, and basic repairs on tractors and trailers. This position requires a strong background in diesel repair and extensive experience with commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform A-PM’s and B-PM’s
• Perform DOT inspections
• In-depth repair work on tractors and trailers (Class 8, no overhauls)
• Perform PMs on trailers and limited minor repair work when needed
• Perform PMs on a variety of diesel engines including Class 6-8 diesel engines
• Use computer diagnostics

Requirements

• 5+ years of mobile technician experience
• 5+ years of diesel repair experience
• 5+ years DOT inspections experience
• Knowledge of CVSA - out of service criteria
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
• Ability to pass a drug/background check
• Ability to pass MVR with a valid drivers license and good driving record

Qualifications

• 5+ years of trailer repair work
• 5+ years of commercial Class 6-8 diesel engine work
• DOT inspections experience
• Welding experience
