Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

Join our Global Operations Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team and play a critical role in launching new Sports Medicine products that make a real difference for patients around the world.

Responsibilities

• Supporting new product introductions as the operations representative within the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team
• Developing and implementing capable manufacturing processes, including equipment specification, acquisition and installation
• Partnering with cross functional teams locally and across global manufacturing sites to achieve project milestones
• Sponsoring design for manufacturability and process development activities
• Planning, executing and documenting validation activities, including data analysis and report writing
• Coodinating and supporting new vendor tooling activities
• Ensuring safety, quality, cost and timeline commitments are consistently met

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering
• At least 2 years of professional experience in new product development
• Experience within the medical device industry is preferred
• Exposure to plastic manufacturing methods is highly desirable

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
• Solid organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently with guidance
• Understanding of quality systems and basic operations documentation

Pay

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $78,000 - $117,000 USD annually.
