- Perform preventive maintenance and complete repairs in guest accommodations, common areas, pools, fire systems, refrigeration equipment, audiovisual systems, and food service facilities.
- Diagnose equipment issues, investigate root causes of failures, and determine effective repair or replacement solutions using technical knowledge and available resources.
- Respond to maintenance requests from guests, owners, and team members while supporting ongoing property improvement projects and asset preservation efforts.
- Maintain organized workspaces, assist with maintenance tracking software, support project documentation, and communicate updates with department leaders, vendors, and fellow engineering team members.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience maintaining commercial, hospitality, resort, or multifamily residential properties.
- Technical training, trade certification, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on experience in building maintenance or a related field.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation.
- Experience using maintenance management or work order software is preferred.
Skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify root causes rather than temporary fixes.

- A proactive approach to identifying maintenance needs and improving building performance.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members, contractors, and other departments.
- Clear communication skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
