About the role
Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist with a minimum of three years of experience. This role involves providing comprehensive, patient-centered hematology and oncology care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating, triaging, and prioritizing consult requests
- Ordering and supervising chemotherapeutic treatments
- Performing bone marrow aspirations and biopsies
- Actively participating in tumor boards
- Coordinating care across specialties such as radiation, surgical oncology, hospice, and palliative care
- Overseeing infusion center operations
- Interpreting pathology, imaging, and molecular testing
- Participating in clinical trials and quality improvement activities
- Developing treatment protocols
- Supervising and mentoring Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners
- Teaching medical staff
- Attending meetings
- Serving on committees
- Conducting peer reviews
- Maintaining certification
- Completing required CME and training
- On-call participation required
Requirements
- Board‑certified Hematologist/Oncologist
- Minimum of three years of experience
