Hematology / Oncology Specialist

Seeking a full-time Hematologist/Oncologist to join an established healthcare system in Central Illinois, with leadership opportunities as an Associate Medical Director. Responsibilities include: providing general Hematology/Oncology care, developing subspecialty programs, managing outpatient consultations, follow-ups, treatments, and survivorship care, as well as inpatient consults. Qualifications and skills: experience in Hematology/Oncology, ability to build and lead a growing program, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and develop subspecialty interests such as breast, GI, prostate, and other diseases. Key features of the practice: comprehensive infrastructure with advanced imaging, pathology, infusion, and radiation services; participation in tumor boards and clinical trials; access to subspecialized support staff; and recognition as an accredited cancer program. Leadership duties: physician recruitment, mentorship, program development, community outreach, and strategic partnerships.
