Advanced Computer & Electrical Engineer

Job Description

The Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Systems Development subdivision is seeking a motivated engineer to join our team in the Hardware Building Block Engineering unit, I&C Hardware Development unit, or Integration and Support Engineering unit.

This role involves driving the development, schedule, delivery, and troubleshooting efforts for an extensive catalog of Hardware Building Block (HWBB) components used throughout the submarine and aircraft carrier fleets.

Required Combination Of Knowledge And Skill

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in electrical engineering or computer engineering and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; or
• Masters degree from an accredited college or university in electrical engineering or computer engineering and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or
• Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university in electrical engineering or computer engineering.

Preferred Skills

• GPA of at least 3.0/4.0
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with technical writing
• Experience with writing or testing functional requirements
• Reactor Plant I&C design or operating experience
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Pay Range

$86,100.00 - $134,600.00 annually
