Advanced Cardiac Care Nurse - Part-Time (Days/Nights)

Role Overview

Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced cardiac unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, and evaluation, following nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Fosters patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medications, and post-treatment needs.
• Participates in safety, quality, regulatory activities, and professional development.
• Develops and documents individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team and communicating across care settings.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and barriers to involvement.
• Maintains safety-sensitive responsibilities, requiring alertness and safe work practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• RN license with a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree; Bachelor's preferred.
• No experience required; preferred candidates have less than 2 years of experience.
