Advanced Cardiac Care Nurse - Part-Time Days/Nights

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced cardiac care unit, assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing activities in accordance with standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
• Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, and cultural needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.

Requirements

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing
• Active RN license
• No prior experience required
• Safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe work practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Less than 2 years of experience
