About the role

Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced, specialized cardiac care unit, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family-centered care
• Educates patients and families on illness management and medication
• Ensures safety and regulatory compliance
• Develops individualized care plans
• Collaborates with the healthcare team
• Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values, cultural, spiritual, and emotional factors
• Communicates care plans effectively across the continuum
• Delivers high-quality nursing care
• Participates in safety and quality initiatives
• Ensures comprehensive documentation and communication of care plans

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• Minimum education of a Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Less than two years of experience preferred
• Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a safety-sensitive role
