About the role

The Department of Media and Information (MI) at Michigan State University invites applications for an Advanced Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor position. This role will complement and expand the department's dynamic and interdisciplinary faculty.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to or expand research areas such as human-computer interaction, human-robot interaction, rural computing, game studies and design, and the intersections between technology, policy, health, and society using computational and/or quantitative approaches.

Requirements

• PhD in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Science, Human-Computer Interaction).
• Strong record of research and publication.
• Experience in teaching and mentoring graduate students.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Interest in interdisciplinary research.
