About the role

RWJBH is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for the Rapid Response Team (RRT) department at the New Brunswick campus. This role includes responding to emergencies as the provider for the Rapid Response Team, as well as assisting with other matters for hospitalized patients such as removal of central lines and emergency room admissions.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies as the provider for the Rapid Response Team.
• Assist with hospitalized patient care, including removal of central lines and emergency room admissions.
• Assess critical patients and order/implement treatment plans.
• Quickly prioritize, work in a fast-paced clinical environment, and adapt to acute situations.

Requirements

• Graduate from an NP program with certification in Acute Care, Adult-Gerontology, or Family.
• All FNPs must have documented medical, surgical, or ICU nursing experience.
• Physician Assistants must have graduated from an accredited PA program.
• 2–4 years of acute inpatient experience preferred.
• Current NJ APN/PA license required.
• NCCPA certification required (for PAs).
• CDS, DEA, RN, BLS, and ACLS certifications required.

Pay

$125,000.00 – $195,000.00 per year. The compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience.

Schedule

Full-time position with 50/50 day/night requirements.
