About the role

MyCare Medical is actively seeking a full-time, certified Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join their team in Temple Terrace, FL. They specialize in primary care and deliver high-quality care at low costs.

Responsibilities

• 100% Outpatient care only
• Rotating and flexible on-call schedule
• Use of eClinical Works (eCW) and partnering programs for ease of use
• Focus on continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention
• Integrated team-based care to improve patient outcomes
• Prioritize preventative care and proactive management of chronic conditions
• Manage a primarily adult-aged patient population

Requirements

• Certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) OR American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
• Certification through an accredited PA certification program focusing on adult medicine
• Currently licensed as an Acute, Adult/Gerontological or Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice or ability to obtain a license prior to employment
• 2 years minimum experience as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
• Bilingual English Spanish speaking preferred
• Holds or is eligible for DEA licensure and CDS licensure (if required in the state of practice)
• Up-to-date CPR Certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Able to use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
• Experience with Medical Advantage, HEIDS, MRA and ICD-10 Coding
• Comfortable managing a primarily adult-aged patient population
• Demonstrated ability to problem-solve complex and multifaceted situations

Pay

$125,000 - $135,000 per hour

Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm
