About the role

The Administrator of the Office of Adult Workforce Pathways provides statewide leadership, policy development, and program oversight for adult education initiatives, including adult diploma and equivalency programs, high school equivalency credentials, and adult workforce-aligned education services.

Responsibilities

• Ensures implementation of Ohio’s workforce priorities;
• Develops and implements policies that support state and federal legislation (e.g., Adult Workforce Diploma Program, AEFLA, WIOA);
• Serves as an unclassified employee pursuant to O.R.C. Section 3301.13 and performs the following educational and/or research duties:
• Education
• Ensures implementation of Ohio’s workforce priorities;
• Develops and implements policies that support state and federal legislation (e.g., Adult Workforce Diploma Program, AEFLA, WIOA);
• Serves as an unclassified employee pursuant to O.R.C. Section 3301.13 and performs the following educational and/or research duties:
• Education
• Ensures implementation of Ohio’s workforce priorities;
• Develops and implements policies that support state and federal legislation (e.g., Adult Workforce Diploma Program, AEFLA, WIOA);
