Workforce Pathways Program Manager

About the Role

As our Workforce Pathways Program Manager, you will lead and implement strategies to diversify the talent pipeline and address workforce pathways for youth. You will build trusting relationships with local schools and youth-serving organizations, plan and implement healthcare career events, create a mentoring program, and gather family input on cultural responsiveness. Your role includes overseeing grant deliverables and meeting associated goals while bringing community insights to internal committees and executive teams.

Responsibilities

• Strategically develop and implement innovative workforce pathway programs to diversify the talent pipeline.
• Plan and execute healthcare career events and create mentoring programs.
• Ensure program objectives address systemic barriers to diversity in healthcare professions and align with community needs.
• Collaborate with community organizations to host secondary school students at care sites, providing exposure to healthcare careers.
• Recruit Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) team members as guest speakers for schools and youth-serving organizations.
• Coordinate logistical planning for educational events, including scheduling staff volunteers and organizing transportation for students and staff.
• Design interactive workforce development events for middle and high school students to immerse them in healthcare-related activities.
• Introduce students to healthcare careers through engaging, off-site programs.
• Integrate community insights into internal committees and executive teams to align programs with organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of experience/education demonstrating requisite job knowledge and abilities.

Pay

$35.62 - $58.77 per hour.
