About the role

Oversee all facility functions regarding training program services including day to day operations, program development, regulatory compliance and staff development.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of programs to ensure appropriateness, effectiveness and variety in trainings/activities to meet the goals outlined in individual participant’s IPPs.
  • Provide direct supervision/support to facility management, including but not limited to hiring, training, evaluating, positive direction and updates to organizational, state and federal guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance of all supervised areas as it relates to the funding, licensing agents, local, state and federal guidelines.
  • Develop and oversee annual programmatic budget and monitor program fiscal responsibility through variance reports, census monitoring, quarterly attendance reviews, bad debt management, service authorization monitoring and client ratio analysis.
  • Ensure high quality programming for all recreational and meaningful day activities, skill training and community outings.
  • Continue to drive operations to meet vision, mission and strategic plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, generate reports, and provide support to staff in navigating the LMS platform.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and two years, verifiable experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities or related experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience and operational management preferred.
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License at all times.

  • Proficiency in using a Learning Management System.
