Adult Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) - Full-Time - Day/Night

Role Overview

Responsible for providing respiratory care, oxygen therapy, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support to patients of all ages, including neonatal to geriatric.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, monitor, and wean oxygen and artificial ventilation
• Perform arterial blood gas analysis and EKGs
• Deliver intermittent therapy
• Assist with artificial airway management
• Review and document clinical information
• Educate patients and staff on procedures
• Perform diagnostic procedures
• Adapt care to patient age and needs
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
• Perform routine and advanced therapeutic procedures
• Maintain documentation and regulatory compliance

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's preferred
• Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist and NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS within 90 days
• Strong computer, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, reaching, and working in a healthcare environment with exposure to blood, body fluids, and potentially infectious materials
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel within facilities
• Adhere to safety and compliance standards
• Emphasize patient-centered care and maintain current knowledge of healthcare standards
