Adult Outreach Professional

Lycoming County Library System is seeking an Adult Outreach Professional to deliver mobile library services to adults and youth throughout Lycoming County.

Responsibilities

• Drive a mobile library to public locations and institutions across Lycoming County
• Provide library services on the vehicle
• Coordinate a schedule of weekly stops year-round

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work with both adults and youth
• Demonstrable computer efficiency
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Awareness of the physical demands of the position
• Valid PA driver’s license and clean driving record
• Driving experience with larger vehicles is recommended

Qualifications

• Coursework or experience in library service is preferred

Pay

$18–21 per hour

Schedule

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (daily start and end times vary seasonally)
• Occasional evening and weekend work required
