Job Summary and Qualifications
The Registered Nurse at Medical City Mental Health and Wellness Center - Frisco coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care. They provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values.
What You Will Do in This Role
- Assesses patient condition during admission and during each shift as scheduled and/or as needed, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
- Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Responds promptly to patient requests.
- Strives to anticipate patient needs and resolve them proactively.
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver a holistic patient treatment plan that promotes and supports recovery.
- Serves as the interface between healthcare providers and community support systems who coordinate ongoing care needs for specialized patient groups.
Qualifications You Will Need
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- (RN) Registered Nurse.
- Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
- No Travel Required.
- 1 years experience Required.
