Adult Hematologist – Classical (Non-Malignant) Hematology
About the role
The Adult Hematologist – Classical Hematology will provide comprehensive care across the spectrum of benign hematologic disorders, including hemostasis, thrombosis, anemia, and complex multisystem conditions. They will participate in and help expand specialized programs within classical hematology, collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of more than 20 physicians and more than 20 advanced practice providers, contribute to clinical program development, quality improvement initiatives, and care model innovation, and engage in inpatient consultation services through established hospital partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care across the spectrum of benign hematologic disorders, including hemostasis, thrombosis, anemia, and complex multisystem conditions
- Participate in and help expand specialized programs within classical hematology, including bleeding disorders, thrombosis, red cell disorders, and women’s health
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of more than 20 physicians and more than 20 advanced practice providers
- Contribute to clinical program development, quality improvement initiatives, and care model innovation
- Engage in inpatient consultation services through established hospital partnerships
Requirements
- Be board certified or eligible in Hematology (Adult Hematology/Oncology training)
- Be eligible for unrestricted Indiana medical licensure and DEA/CSR
- Demonstrate strong clinical expertise in classical hematology
