Adult Educator

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and administer classroom courses at the FAA Academy
• May serve as the primary class instructor, collaborating with a CPC
• Participate in Instructional System Design (ISD) projects, including the development, revision, and maintenance of ATC training courses
• Prepare and organize instructional materials and resources
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support

Qualifications

• Education: Must have a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) along with a teaching certification, or a master’s degree in higher education from an accredited college or university
• Training and Certification: Candidates will receive FAA general and course-specific training and must become certified by the FAA to meet specific defined job duties and responsibilities
• US Citizenship: Required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
