Adult Cardiac Anesthesiologist - Locum Tenens

About the role

This role is for an adult cardiac anesthesiologist providing anesthesia services in an inpatient, Level III Trauma Center with a broad range of surgical specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, orthopedics, and bariatrics, as well as a Level II NICU.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include supervising 1 to 3 ORs within a care team model supported by CRNA staff, delivering anesthesia across diverse case types, and managing a variable case load.

Requirements

• Cardiac anesthesia fellowship
• TEE certification
• Board certification is negotiable
• Prescriptive authority needed

Work Environment

Clinicians will participate in a mix of on-site, restricted, and unrestricted call, including weekends. The role involves supervision and a focus on adult patient care, working in an on-site setting with a support staff of CRNAs, and a diverse case mix.
