Adult Cardiac Anesthesiologist - Locum Tenens

About the Role

An adult cardiac anesthesiologist responsible for delivering comprehensive perioperative anesthesia care at a Level 2 Trauma Center with dedicated cardiac surgical services.

Responsibilities

• Provide day shift coverage with variable 8-12 hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
• Manage weeknight call from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM and weekend call from Saturday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM.
• Supervise CRNA staff within a medical direction model while managing cardiac anesthesia services.
• Deliver anesthesia management for adult cardiac procedures in a trauma center environment.

Requirements

• Board certification is negotiable.
• Experience with comprehensive perioperative care for adult cardiac patients.
• Ability to supervise staff and work in a trauma setting.

Schedule

• Day shift coverage: variable 8-12 hour shifts, Monday through Friday.

Additional Details

The role involves supervision of support staff, with no prescriptive authority required. The position is on-site, and the clinician's involvement is primarily supervisory, with no hands-on procedures expected. Support includes generalist anesthesiologists and CRNA staff.
