Adult Cardiac Anesthesiologist - Locum Tenens

Position Overview: An adult cardiac anesthesiologist role requiring supervision of 1 to 3 ORs within an inpatient care team model supported by CRNA staff. The position involves providing anesthesia coverage across diverse case types, including cardiac, trauma, NICU, GI, neurosurgery, oncology, orthopedics, and bariatrics, in a Level III Trauma Center. Responsibilities Supervise anesthesia delivery in multiple operating rooms, ensuring patient safety and quality care.Manage a mix of scheduled cases and call duties, including on-site, restricted, and unrestricted daily call, with weekend coverage.Provide oversight in complex cases such as cardiac, trauma, and NICU surgeries.Hold a Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship and TEE certification; board certification in anesthesiology is negotiable.Prescriptive authority is required; supervision of anesthesia practice is part of the role. Qualifications & Skills Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia and TEE certification.Experience in managing diverse surgical cases in a high-acuity setting.Ability to work within a care team model and supervise CRNA staff.Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
