Adult Autism Support Specialist (873)
Essential Duties
- Help develop, organize and facilitate activities and programs, both at our center and in the community.
- Able to work a flexible schedule (occasional nights & weekends) to meet the needs of individuals and facilitate programs.
- Meet with new and existing referrals to assist with benefits applications and informational resources.
- Aid in the facilitation of workshops & trainings on topics pertinent to the ASD population.
- Develop material and outreach efforts, including newsletters, community offerings and current research.
- Form community collaborations and partnerships that benefit those we serve.
- Show excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with attention to detail.
- Work in a team environment.
- Occasional travel throughout the Newton/South Norfolk & Metro-Boston area.
Requirements
- Experience working with Individuals with ID/DD
- A Bachelor's degree
- Pass Fingerprint background check, CORI, DPPC and Driving background checks
- Valid Driver's License required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay Range: $53,587 per year
