About the role

The Ad Partner Solutions (APS) team at Roku is the critical bridge between our advertising technology platform and the ecosystem of partners that power advertiser success. We enable seamless integrations and partnerships with industry-leading platforms, ensuring Roku's advertising solutions deliver best-in-class supply, execution, and optimization capabilities. Our team manages the full lifecycle of partner relationships—from initial scoping and technical implementation through ongoing optimization and strategic expansion. We collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Client Services teams to drive partner adoption, resolve technical challenges, and unlock new revenue opportunities.

We are seeking an Ad Partner Solutions Manager to own the end-to-end relationship with our commerce partners—from onboarding through ongoing partner management—while serving as the dedicated owner of Political, Advocacy & Government channel sales during election cycles. You will act as the connective tissue between partners and internal teams, including sales, product, engineering, legal, and marketing, ensuring commitments made in deals are built, launched, and optimized. This role requires expertise in partner integration, spanning SSP supply connections, Commerce API, retail media network audience ingestion, and conversion API, ensuring durable business value regardless of the political cycle.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical execution and strategic partner management, with deep programmatic supply path expertise, precision in navigating political advertising compliance, and the ability to connect disparate teams around a clear operational framework. Success requires technical fluency, operational rigor, strong cross-functional influence, and a passion for structured execution in a complex, high-stakes environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end relationship with a portfolio of commerce partners—from onboarding through ongoing partner management—leading cross-functional work with product, engineering, legal, and marketing to launch and integrate each partnership successfully.
  • Lead the launch and integration process for new commerce partnerships, translating deal terms into concrete internal execution plans, managing timelines, dependencies, and risks, and proactively flagging blockers.
  • Monitor commerce partner health post-launch—performance, satisfaction, and adoption—and identify opportunities to deepen or expand the relationship; present regular updates to internal leadership and partner stakeholders.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for all political channel sales deals, owning day-to-day deal activity, health monitoring, program management, and supply path configuration across DSP/SSP partners.
  • Own the political attestation and creative override process end-to-end, including daily monitoring, override tool submissions, and verification that approved advertisers are live and spending.
  • Partner with Product Strategy & Operations and Product on policy automation scanning issues; stay current on political advertising policy and governance changes and translate their downstream impact to internal teams.
  • Track, manage, and provide visibility into the team's political task list—router edits, deal configurations, and reporting gaps—ensuring nothing falls through the cracks in a high-volume, fast-moving cycle.
  • Partner with Ad Operations, Inventory, and Revenue Operations teams on deal troubleshooting and domain-level reporting and trends across both political and commerce workstreams.
  • Serve as the connective layer between Ad Partner Solutions, Account Management, and Account Coordination, maintaining clarity on ownership, deal status, and escalation paths across all Client Services teams supporting the Political, Advocacy & Government business.
  • Identify opportunities to expand Roku's commerce and political partner reach; evaluate new opportunities based on market demand, technical fit, and commercial viability.
  • Monitor spend and performance across political and commerce partner-driven initiatives, surfacing trends and insights to Sales and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop a deep understanding of how Roku's platform, ad products, and supply infrastructure deliver value to political and commercial advertisers—and apply that knowledge to strengthen partner relationships and execution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in partner solutions, programmatic supply, ad operations, or a technical partner management role within advertising or media.
  • Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional launches with multiple internal stakeholders—from scoping through delivery.
  • Strong project management skills—comfortable building timelines, tracking dependencies, and driving accountability without formal authority over other teams.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills—able to represent partner needs internally and company priorities externally.
  • Experience translating commercial or contractual terms into technical or operational requirements.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and adapting plans as partner needs or internal priorities shift.
  • Partner integration depth across one or more of the following: SSP supply connections, Commerce API and retail media network audience ingestion, or CAPI.
  • Familiarity with the programmatic advertising ecosystem—DSPs, SSPs, supply path configuration, deal set-up, and troubleshooting at the execution level.
  • Exposure to political advertising, political programmatic deals, or compliance-heavy advertising environments (a plus).
  • Experience with or genuine interest in Commerce or retail media network partner activation (a plus).
  • Experience with CTV/OTT publishers or streaming platforms (a plus).
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree (a plus).

Culture

Roku is a great place for people who want to work in a fast-paced environment where everyone is focused on the company's success rather than their own. We surround ourselves with people who are great at their jobs, easy to work with, and keep their egos in check. We appreciate a sense of humor and believe a fewer number of very talented folks can do more for less cost than a larger number of less talented teams. We're independent thinkers with big ideas who act boldly, move fast, and accomplish extraordinary things through collaboration and trust.

We think of ourselves primarily as problem-solvers, which is a two-part idea: we come up with the solution, but the solution isn't real until it is built and delivered to the customer. That penchant for action gives us a pragmatic approach to innovation, one that has served us well since 2002.
