About the role
The Dragonfly Project is seeking volunteers for our "Adopt-A-State" Program. This involves being assigned an area (State, group of counties, or city) and periodically monitoring funeral homes in your assigned area for obituaries that meet our suggested criteria. We will train you on how to find mailing addresses for the surviving loved ones, and you'll address envelopes that other volunteers will eventually insert cards with "The Dragonfly Story" printed in them, along with dragonfly keychains.
Responsibilities
- Monitor funeral homes in your assigned area for obituaries that meet our suggested criteria.
- Find mailing addresses for the surviving loved ones.
- Address envelopes with "The Dragonfly Story" printed in them.
- Collate and distribute the prepared materials to other volunteers.
Requirements
- Ability to commit to at least 3 hours per month.
- Basic computer skills to access and manage the program.
- Full-time availability is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Open to all teens and 55+ individuals.
- Willingness to learn and follow the training provided.

Pay

Schedule
